Make a rough sketch of your kitchen floor plan like the sample
at right. Assume your kitchen is bare. Don't worry about existing
cabinets. Do give us window (excluding trim) and appliance measurements.
Just follow these steps:
Designing your kitchen, bath, den or other rooms will require
some special knowledge which only you can give us. You can use
our handy kitchen
measuring grid to show us your kitchen's exact shape and
measurements. We'd also appreciate your filling out the answers
to these few questions below in order to help us do our best
for you.

2. How often do you entertain?
3. How often do you shop?
4. Are you building or remodeling?
5. For remodeling: a. Can the plumbing move? b. Can any of the major
appliances move? c. Can any doors or windows
be changed? d. Are there any
obstructions such as chimneys, pipes or
stairways?
6. What is the ceiling height?
7. What type/style appliances are you using?
(Cooktop and wall oven vs. free-standing range).

Do you want a separate snack bar or breakfast area?
9. Which major appliances do you plan to in-
clude in the kitchen:
Cooktop
Range (built-in)
Range (free-standing)
Refrigerator
Freezer
Food Warmer
Rotisserie
10. After you have received stylebooks from us,
you will need to select a style of cabinet, a door style
and a wood choice with finish color. Please specify
those here.
